In Bali, the technology issue gained a lot of attention and momentum within the UNFCCC process. Many Parties made it clear that technology was key for the success of Bali. The EGTT was reconstituted for a further five years with a strengthened mandate. This side event will highlight the work programme of the EGTT for 2008 and 2009 and its possible linkages with the AWG-LCA.
